With Hemberg, the hill climb season kicks off
The Hemberg Hill Climb is one of the most popular motorsport events in the region and attracts around 8,000 spectators every year. Organized by the club of the same name and with the active support of around 350 volunteers, the race will take place for the thirteenth time in 2026.
More than 200 drivers from Switzerland and abroad will tackle the approximately 1,758-meter-long racecourse with a 157-meter elevation gain during the first official round of the Swiss Hill Climb championship. This year, the event will take place on the weekend of June 6–7, which is one week earlier than usual.
