Fuel additives are used to prevent severe contamination. The dispersants in the additives clean both the fuel tank and the combustion chamber in all the places where fuel reaches. Additionally, these additives also contain detergents that keep the suspended dirt particles and lead them to the combustion chamber. Regular use of fuel additives ensures that no severe contaminations occur that would interfere with the combustion process. By optimizing combustion, fuel can also be saved.

Is there water in the fuel tank?
Furthermore, there are additives that, in addition to cleaning, ensure that any water in the tank is mixed with the fuel, so that it is destroyed in the smallest amounts via the combustion chamber. This can prevent water from accumulating on the bottom of the fuel tank and reaching the combustion chamber in large quantities.
