- The lubricating ability of sodium soap greases is between -20 °C and +110 °C

- Calcium soap greases are extremely water-resistant and are characterized by excellent saltwater protection
- Preferred areas of application for calcium soap greases include agriculture, forestry, and machinery used in winter service
- Calcium soap greases are not high-temperature greases and should not be used for axle lubrication
