Everyday and Racing: Performance 20W-50

Midland Performance 20W-50 is the high-performance engine oil that meets all the requirements of sporty driving in everyday traffic as well as in the toughest racing use. This mineral engine oil has also proven itself over the years in a wide variety of classic cars when an engine oil with one of the following specifications is required:

Thanks to the increased HTHS value (> 3.5 mPa∙s), the Performance 20W-50 engine oil remains stable even at hot temperatures and guarantees an optimal lubrication reliability.

By the way: HTHS stands for High Temperature High Shear and describes the dynamic viscosity measured at 150 °C and under the influence of high shear forces. It is specified in millipascal seconds (mPa∙s). The purpose of setting HTHS limits is to ensure that engine oils also have the necessary lubrication reliability in the bearing area (where high shear forces and high oil temperatures prevail).
