New brake fluid

A new brake fluid DOT 5.1 now completes the Midland product range. Midland DOT 5.1 Brake Fluid is characterised by a higher wet boiling point and can also be used where the previous Midland Brake Fluid DOT 4 or Midland hypro lv were used.

The new brake fluid is backwards compatible and meets the new standard DOT 5.1 as well as the previous DOT 3 and DOT 4, which is why it can also be mixed with other brake fluids of the qualities DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1. Important: Please note that DOT 5.1 is not miscible with silicone base DOT 5 brake fluids or mineral base LHM fluids.
