New fully synthetic gear oil Cryptogear 75W-90

Midland's Cryptogear 75W-90 is a new fully synthetic transmission fluid designed specifically for heavy-duty automated I-Shift transmissions.

I-Shift is an automated manual transmission developed and manufactured by Volvo. The transmission is designed specifically for heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks and buses and was first launched in 2001. In addition to Volvo vehicles, I-Shift transmissions are also used in trucks and buses made by companies such as Renault and Mack Trucks.

The I-Shift transmission uses computer-controlled electronics to change gears automatically, reducing the driver's workload while achieving optimum fuel economy and better performance. The I-Shift transmission is able to perform gear changes quickly and seamlessly by taking into account engine speed, vehicle speed, road gradient and other factors.

The Volvo 97315 specification, which meets the Cyptogear 75W-90, is preferred in heavy-duty commercial vehicles and can also be used when the Volvo 97307 or 97305 specification with 75W-80 viscosity is recommended.
