Hope for the best

The five-time Swiss hill climb champion wants to finally use the new turbo engine under racing conditions. In 2021, his LobArt Honda is to be given a run-out mainly in the Swiss hill climb championship, which originally consisted of nine races. Unfortunately, La Roche, Hemberg, Reitnau, Anzère and Les Paccots have already been cancelled.

For this reason, Steiner has already had to reorientate himself. The race St-Ursanne - Les Rangiers with its high speeds would be unsuitable as the first race. For this reason, the French races of Vuillanfans and Beaujolais are moving into focus. Marcel Steiner would also like to participate in the races in Osnabrück, Türckheim and St. Agatha. However, this depends on the regulations regarding the air restrictor, which is required by the FIA for turbo engines, and the financial situation of the team.

The big highlight will be the 4th FIA Hillclimb Masters in mid-October in Portugal. After participating in 2018, Marcel wants to compete there again this year with the best in Europe.
