GMB Motorsport and Midland are joining forces for the 2023 season. The young and ambitious racing team from Denmark is currently making waves in various categories in European motorsport and will be competing in this year's 24-hour race at Le Mans.
The Danish racing team will be competing in the following categories this season:
The European Le Mans Series will compete with an Aston Martin Vantage GTE AMR. In addition to this championship, the Aston Martin will also be driven in the official 24 Hours of Le Mans, where GMB Motorsport will participate for the first time this year. These races will be contested by experienced driver Jens Møller and newcomer Gustav Birch.
The Le Mans Cup will be driven with two Honda NSX GT3 EVOs. Drivers for this cup will include 25-time Formula 1 Grand Prix driver Jan Magnussen, father of current F1 driver Kevin Magnussen. In addition, last year's runner-up in this championship, Lars Pedersen, and Simon Birke, the 2022 Rookie of the Year, will compete in the cup for the racing team.
In the TCR Denmark Car Series, the racing team will participate with two Honda Civic TCR H70s, which will be driven by defending champion Kasper H. Jansen and Gustav Birch.
In addition, this year GMB Motorsport will field a junior team, which will participate with five Mijet Super GT V6/2Ls in the Super GT and Super 2L classes in Denmark.
