With Midland at the start in Le Mans

The Danish team GMB Motorsport, which competes in the European Le Mans Series and the Le Mans Cup, among others, naturally did not miss the opportunity to start  at the 100th edition of the legendary 24-hour race at Le Mans in 2023.

With the Aston Martin GTE AMR, the drivers Gustav Birch, Marco Sorensen and Jens Reno Miller entered the endurance race in the highly competitive "LM GTE Am" class. But the race car, which was filled with Midland engine oil and gear lubricant for this tough event, unfortunately did not stay in the race for long. After two hours, it got into a collision with Gustav Birch at the wheel through no fault of its own, marking the end of the race.

At this year's eventful edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with alternating dry and wet weather, big names were literally left out in the rain. In the end, Ferrari triumphed, ahead of Toyota with Swiss driver Sébastian Buemi, for the first time in over fifty years. Congratulations!
