New Synqron 0W-16
The low-viscosity Midland Synqron 0W-16 has been developed especially for the latest high-efficiency engines and is mainly required for hybrid engines and small turbo petrol engines. The lowered HTHS (High Temperature High Shear) viscosity has been proven to help save fuel and reduce emissions. In addition, the low viscosity provides instant lubrication and effective engine protection at low cold start temperatures.
Further advantages of Midland Synqron 0W-16 are minimal oil consumption due to low evaporation loss and protection against premature ignition at low speed (LSPI = Low Speed Pre-Ignition) and an increase in the service life of exhaust aftertreatment systems such as catalytic converters and particulate filters in petrol engines.
Motor oils with a viscosity of 0W-16 tend to be requested more frequently, primarily by Asian vehicle manufacturers such as Toyota, Lexus, Honda and KIA, but also by Renault. The new Midland Synqron 0W-16 is the answer to this growing demand.
Important: The fully synthetic fuel economy motor oil may only be used in vehicles with petrol engines for which a viscosity of 0W-16 is specified or recommended.
