With Hemberg, the hill climb season kicked off
The Hemberg Hill Climb is one of the most popular motorsport events in the region and attracts around 8,000 spectators every year. Organized by the club of the same name and with the active support of around 350 volunteers, the race has taken place for the thirteenth time in 2026.
More than 200 drivers from Switzerland and abroad tackled the approximately 1,758-meter-long racecourse with a 157-meter elevation gain during the first official round of the Swiss Hill Climb championship. This year, the event took place on the weekend of June 6–7, which was one week earlier than usual.
