Definition of eco-heating oil low in sulfur 50ppm
‘Oeko’ heating oil 50ppm complies with the DIN 51603-1 standard for low-sulphur heating oil and has a maximum sulphur content of only 50 ppm (= 0.005 per cent). It has been specially developed for modern heating boilers with condensing technology. It burns very efficiently and practically residue-free. This extends the service life of the tank system and protects the environment. In addition, odour emissions during refuelling and storage are significantly reduced. 'Oeko' heating oil is used in private households, office buildings and warehouses for space and water heating, as well as in mobile heating units and to generate process heat in industrial manufacturing processes. The original product of 'Oeko' heating oil is crude oil, which is formed below the earth's surface and consists of a complex mixture of organic compounds. This crude oil is broken down into its components by fractional distillation at the refinery, desulphurised using a special process, and additivated to give it the characteristic properties of heating oil.
